What a great week of fishing.

We finished up a great week of fishing catching limits of reds almost every day along with, flounder, trout and sheepshead.

Time was limited on the water due to the extreme heat and Jerry Picou and I aren’t in our 20s any more, or 30’s or 40’s or even 50’s, LOL.

All fish caught on live and dead shrimp under a Four Horsemen Tackle popping cork, in my opinion the best sounding cork on the market. The redfish love them.

We had two days where we pulled a limit out of the first stop. The rest of the week was stick and move.

Numerous rat reds to throw back and several bull reds to big to keep due to the new regulations.
All in all it was a fun week.

So 5:30 to 9:30 AM was our set fishing time.

Get out catch and back on in by 9:30.

Please stay hydrated while you are out there and make sure the young ones have plenty of sunblock.

Thanks to the handy Bait Butler for keeping our live shrimp active even in extreme heat. Click the link below to order yours.

Of course I can’t close this post with out leaving a link for the Four Horsemen Tackle cork, order you a few.
